Naning Street is a short street off Macalister Road within the George Town city centre. It runs from northeast to southwest between Macalister Road and Seang Tek Road.

The street is mostly lined with small and medium enterprises. A coffee shop at the junction between Naning Street and Lorong Seratus Tahun serves among the best curry mee on Penang Island.

Etymology

Naning Street was named after the district of Naning in Malacca. Formerly part of the Sultanate of Negeri Sembilan located north of Malacca, it was annexed into the Straits Settlement of Malacca by the British in 1832.
