The TPO Friendship Park is a small landscaped urban park within George Town's UNESCO World Heritage Site. Opened to the public in 2011 by the Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng, it was dedicated to the 68 Asian city mayors who participated in the 5th. Forum of the Tourism Promotion Organisation (TPO) for Asia-Pacific (TPO) in 2012.

TPO Friendship Park, Farquhar Street, George Town
It is located at Farquhar Street, between Bayview Hotel to the west and St. Xavier's Institution to the south. Situated at the well-manicured park are Bucida Molineti trees, a fountain and the TPO Sculpture.

The TPO Friendship Park was officially opened by Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng, in 2011. It commemorates the 5th. Forum of the Tourism Promotion Organisation (TPO) for Asia Pacific, which was held on Penang Island the following year. 68 city mayors from across the Asia-Pacific region attended the forum.
The fountain at TPO Friendship Park
During the forum, the participating city mayors also planted Bucida Molineti trees at the park. Over time, the trees are expected to provide shade to the park.

TPO Sculpture
Also, a fountain and a sculpture commemorating the forum have also been installed at the well-manicured park. The fountain was jointly built by the then Penang Island Municipal Council and Penangite developer, BSG Property, while the TPO Sculpture bears the signatures of Chief Minister Lim, Penang Island Municipal Council President (now Mayor of Penang Island) Patahiyah Ismail and two South Korean mayors.
Paths leading to benches allow tourists and local Penangites alike to take a breather from the sweltering heat of George Town.
