Amoy Lane is a narrow no-through lane within the George Town city centre. It branches southwest out of Argyll Road, intersecting with Hutton Lane before terminating.

Equator College, one of the main arts and media colleges within northern Malaysia, has a campus here.

Etymology

Amoy Lane was named after the city of Xiamen in Fujian Province, China. The city was previously known as Amoy by the Europeans, who derived the name from the Hokkien pronunciation of Xiamen, Au Mooi.

Education
